Faulty, incorrect or damaged goods
Notification of any goods received faulty or incorrect must be made to lightmyhome.co.uk within 7 working days of receipt. An order may be cancelled up to 7 working days from the day after date of receipt. Notification must be made on the Returns section of lightmyhome.co.uk on the form provided. Once we receive this, we will contact you for your credit card details and refund your credit card accordingly.
Sometimes an item just does not work how you thought it might! In this instance, lightmyhome.co.uk will happily accept unusable items and either suggest something more to your taste, or refund your purchase on to the card on which you paid. Please note that unsuitable items can only be accepted back for a refund providing that they have not been used or installed.
They should be returned with the original packaging to ensure the product is not damaged on the return journey.
Unfortunately lightmyhome.co.uk will NOT cover the cost of returning unsuitable items and all costs in this instance must be carried by the customer.
The above do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
From time to time, an order may not be in stock where indicated, or may not be unavailable from one of our suppliers. On the unlikely event that this happens, we will place your order on Back Order. This means we will put you in a queue on a first come first served basis to receive your order as soon as we get it in stock again. Alternatively, we will call you to suggest a suitable alternative we can get quickly or offer you the opportunity to cancel your order.
All Products Include VAT @ 20% as of 4th January 2011.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. In line with regulations there is no VAT charge for orders originating from the Channel Isles ( please call us on 01254 266019 to order if you are based in the Channel Isles ). The correct VAT will be calculated at checkout.

For the best customer experience, the credit card transaction takes place on the secure lightmyhome.co.uk website (the website is protected by a Secure Sockets Layer). We do NOT store your credit card details once the transaction is complete.
